Satguru Shri Braham Sagar Ji Bhuriwale Maharaj ka Avtar Sthan and Tap Sthan Shri Ram Pur Dham

On this place Shri Shri 1008 Shri Satgurudev Braham Sagar ji Bhuriwale was born in bhadhon month on Shri Krishan Janamasthami in year 1862 on 22 August, sambat 1919 on Wednesday morning in Poswal gotar. Smt. Bholi Devi and Sh. Veeru Ram were his mother and father. Before the birth of satgurudev ji, his mother used to have darshan of Lite [Jyoti] every day at her place. After his birth, satgurudev ji used to lit desi ghee jyoti every day in his home. Now at this place Akhand jyoti is going on.

Since his childhood to 21 years of age Satgurudev ji used to live at kutia wale mandir of this village most of the time. During his childhood Satgurudev ji used to call this place as “Dol wala wara”. Old people of that time used to say that most of the time they have seen the tiger doing parikarma around Satgurudev ji and many times a very strong beam of light around his body appeared. At this place, Satgurudev ji da Bal Awastha Tap Sthan has been established and Akhand jyoti is going on.

He took shelter under Shri Satguru Bhuriwale Braham Sagar ji Maharaj and became his disciple in 1918. He remained in service of his Gurudev ji upto 1947. During this time under the command of Satgurudev Ji, he wrote “Bani” of Shri Garib Dass ji in the form of Shri Granth Sahib and completed other books like “Rattan Sagar”, “Ratan Mala” etc. He did tap in “Doie wale jungle” along with Satgurudev Bhuriwale ji and also performed duty as his guard. He came to Ram Pur the native village of Satgurudev Bhuriwale ji in December 1948. He did “Tap” and “Bhajan” for many years in his small hut made of grass and hay. During this tap, some times he had only roasted grams as his food.

The present Tap Sthan was constructed and completed with your initiative in 1957. You remained there upto 1973 while performing your tap, bhajan and service to this temple. You came in Ram Pur Dham with only one mission to bring in light the Avtar Sthan of Satguru Bhuriwale ji which was great tirath but was unknown. This is due to your tap, bhajan and sincere efforts only that the present temple is before us for worship. You advised and motivated your followers to dedicate all their services to the Avtar Sthan. You always told the sangat that the any service made to this temple shall be considered as service to me. You did a great miracle by establishing and revealing this beautiful Tirath “Avtar Sthan of Shri Bhuriwale Maharaj ji” at Ram Pur Dham. You did great service to mankind and your followers because of the tap and bhajan made by you at this place.

Shri Swami Charan Dass Brahamchari Ji Maharaj formed Trust Braham Sagar Sant Charan Trust (Regd.) and Shri Swami Kewal Dass Ji Maharaj was the first General Secretary of the Trust. The Trust take care of the activities of the Avtar Sthan and Tap Sthan Ram Pur Dham, Charitable Hospital in the Dham and organises regular blood donation camps, checkup camps related to eyes, skin etc. for the needed people.

Swami Charan Dass Brahamchari Ji Maharaj was the successor of Swami Sant Ram ji and he came to “Ram Pur Dham” on 7th April, 1959. At that time construction of Kutia wale temple was already completed. You took responsibility of this holy pilgrimage by taking blessings and diksha from Shri Swami Sant Ram ji Maharaj.

For 12 years, from year 1960 to 1971, you never wore shoes and completed your fast of not consuming wheat. During this time due to poverty, you did lot of hardwork with your hands. With the inspiration from Satgurudev Shri Sant Ram ji, you got printed books like Ratan Sagar, Shri Darbar Sahib, Satguru ji da Jeewan Charitar etc. You distributed these books free of cost amongst followers at that time.

You were party to the purchase of all the property of this Dham. In year 1982, you formed a Trust named ”Braham Sagar Sant Charan Trust (Regd.)” and you transferred the property of this Dham to the Trust. You printed Satguru Shri Garib Dass ji Maharaj’s “Amrit mye Vani” and also arranged functions and events of “Ekotariyan” seven times. You also contributed for the service of ”Shri Chhudani Dham”. You got built Swami Sant Ram ji Maharaj’s Smadhi, Langar Hall, Diwan Hall. You also got built a big gate on the Main Road in the memory of “Satguru” ji. Rooms for the stay of common and needy people were also built during this time. Besides this a Government Charitable Dispensary for animals was also opened at this place. You also got lit a “Akhand Jyoti” of desi ghee in “Kutiya Wale Tapsthan”.
